The Milazzo Film Festival 2024 Attorstudio starts today, Thursday, February 29, and promises to offer an extraordinary cinematic experience until Sunday, March 3. The tenth edition of this unmissable event will take place at the Trifiletti Theater, with the valuable collaboration of the Giffoni Film Festival, responsible for the morning sessions dedicated to local school students. The official presentation was held yesterday, Wednesday, February 28, during a press conference at Palazzo d’Amico, with the participation of Mayor Pippo Midili, who highlighted the importance of celebrating the tenth anniversary of this event, receiving full support from the Municipality of Milazzo.
Caterina Taricano and Mario Sesti are the artistic directors of this edition, which promises to deliver a rich program of screenings of unreleased films, live performances, engaging conversations, and award ceremonies. Among the distinguished guests, there will be Fabrizio Bentivoglio with his monologue “Piccolo Almanacco dell’attore” and Lino Banfi, accompanied by Michele Riondino, for the awards ceremony on Saturday. Sunday will be the moment for journalists Alessandra Sardoni from La7 and Caterina De Angelis.
The festival will begin with a series of activities dedicated to students, followed by art exhibitions and the highlights of the international short film competition, which will showcase a selection of must-see works focused on marine protection.
Participation in all events is free until seats are filled. This festival, which will conclude on Sunday, March 3, represents a unique opportunity to immerse yourself in the world of cinema, meet leading figures from the industry, and enjoy high-quality performances.
