The MFF is the Film Festival of the City of Milazzo. It features a film showcase, an International Short Film Competition, a Feature Film Competition, and the “Silver Scarab Award”

The Competition aims to provide expressive spaces for independent filmmakers from all over the world, encouraging them to explore new perspectives on contemporary issues based on personal inspirations and reflections. The Competition traditionally features two sections: short films on any theme, and, in collaboration with the Capo Milazzo Marine Area, focusing on environmental sustainability and marine conservation.

The “Attilio Liga” International Feature Film Competition is dedicated to feature filmmakers and documentarians, celebrating works that explore relevant themes in depth. Each year, the Committee selects a specific category to highlight new cinematic perspectives and innovative storytelling styles.
